Baltic, I am half way through this. I noted your advice not to let the piston drop whilst the saddle is removed (thank you!).
I have taken notice and am heeding your advice - but why? will the piston not pump back out?

all the best,

I have had an engineering firm make these - how beautiful is that!
You can probably guess how bored I am in Lockdown...

If it fits I will get the firm to make them and intro them to Stan etc so people can buy them pre-drilled.

Wow that is pretty special.

Mine is a bit more rudimentary, taking a "what's the fastest route from A to B" approach.

i.e. I didn't see much point of the disk element so how do I get a 16mm shaft to connect with a 28x58 odd mm hole.

So a 28x28x58 block of ally, drilled at the bottom, and a bit of excess cut off with an angle grinder to create the 'v' shape.
No welding, no machining (cordless drill too) so all done with hand tools if anyone wants to knock one up without much gear.

The nice guys at Anembo engineering are now producing the adaptor for the Mercedes Sprinter Jack ready made and fully drilled. Which we need since Baltic Blue moved and doesn't have his pillar drill any more!!

New to the RR but noticed this thread. Interested in the bottle jack as my hydraulic one won't go high enough for this. Where can you get the Sprinter Jacks from, can't see on EBay. Presume the Sprinter one is the best option. Thanks for any pointers.

Perhaps both a bit on the pricey side. Cheers
