The reason that unit is cheaper that the other is that it is not an android unit It will do just about everything that the android will do with one exception you cannot add apps to customise the unit to your liking... basically if it doesn't do it though , But having said that if all your looking for is a functioning upgrade to the Range Rover system it will more than do that, with a lot more bells and whistles too

None of the existing system will work.... but that does mean that you can sell the cd changer, nav head , radio, amps, tv tuner, etc. but you will loose the clock setting function except by pulling the fuse and replacing it at 12 o'clock.

I agree with all the above, but for only a tiny amount more I would always choose the better unit, especially as the install of either is intense. As for the clock I have already decided that it's not needed and I will fabricate a two usb plug extension for iphone connection to go in it's place. |

As yours is touch screen which is MOST system you cannot use the above systems. John
