The park brake module uses wheel speed data to know what mode it should engage the park brake with, so to me, it makes sense that you would get a park brake error too..

Just to add, these Transfer Cases are very fussy about which oil is in them. It's a specific weight of oil with special friction modifiers.

Just a thought? If you're 'Indy' isn't an LR specific I ...

Maybe let your Indy do the double flush? That's go to be the cheapest and possibly the quickest step. It might well solve the issue, it's certainly in line with the TSB your quote referenced.

Not ...

Probably not bearing relateed then.

As stated, it could well be a faulty wheel sensor, or dirt in the trigger ring.

Sounds to me like the wheel sensor will most likely be the fault. It'll throw up all the warnings you have seen (although not sure about the park brake one!).

It could also be the wheel bearing, i ...

There is a calibration process for the Transfer Case which measures the clutch calibration angles and adapts accordingly.

This is separate to the high-low range adaption. So it can be done.

This coupled with my step calibration issue in another topic is leading me to think my indy just doesn't have the correct software for L405s.

Calibrating the e-diff won't induce any harshness and is not something that the e-fiff learns over time. There is a single, multi-plate clutch that needs to be correctly calibrated. The plates wear o ...

Certainly there's a smell from the exhaust system when a DPF regen is occurring. Exhaust Gas Temperatures (EGT's) are raised to 600 degrees C+ and everything to do with the exhaust from the CAT backw ...
