Are your back plates rusted away where the brake shoe hold down pins locate? Is this why you want to replace them?

unfortunately for me the discs are more or less dead and scrapped

managed to get some range rover oem bushes for the top arms from left over stock, £150 for 4 which nis a steal compared to LR with £120 for 1, replaced all those.

right it seems LR are consolidating there parts into a central warehouse so who knows wtf is going on there

well someone is selling a complete rear end, which has what i need, then I guess i can refurb the other parts and sell them on, including an entire rear subframe

If you put it back together with the fix I suggested it will work perfectly and pass an MOT (& probably last longer than new backplates 😂) |

ive yoloed a disc shield from an L320, we'll see when that turns up if i can make it work.
