When my FSR went it was so hot after the car was parked for 4 hours it burned my technician, surprised the car didnt catch fire. One day your life will flash before your eyes......................................make sure yours is worth watching!

A way to test an FSR is to install an ammeter in the battery earth cable and measure the current drain after the car has gone to sleep and then do the same again having removed fuses 34 and 64.

Here's the update : got my car back today, and guess what, everything is ok (and has been for the full week). The test bookd didn't give anything

tested it, 11.2v, does it mean it's definitely dead? or just that it needs to be recharged?

Ok, battery charged, battery is delivering only 14v whatever the rpms (2000, 3000), measured at the positive & negative battery terminations.
