When my FSR went it was so hot after being parked for about 3 hours it burned my guys hand !!!! so if you can get near it and its hot after the cars been switched off a while thats your problem. One day your life will flash before your eyes......................................make sure yours is worth watching!

Connections are and were tight
I've had the same issue with both batteries (old and new one)
I'm currently recharging the old one that's again in the car, for the night, I'll see tomorrow.
WHat's strange is that last time I've had the flat battery, plugging the cables from another car did the trick at least to start it. Now it doesn't.

You could check the cables from the alternator for resistance. One day your life will flash before your eyes......................................make sure yours is worth watching!

So after several investigations, battery's not the issue, resorting to this (direction LR Approved garage)

No, didn't check the FSR (I didn't know what it was but I have now done a search and see). Will point that to the indy.
ps: reason for not checking is that the rangie won't start now even with a full proper battery, with cables or whatever.

Laughing you can say so, I have several small things to fix BUT
engine & gearbox work very well & I did get it for a (too?) good price.
I hop to strike a deal with the seller on work to be done or he will have my lawyer on this a$$$

Has it gone to a RR specialist as TBH now ive had one for a couple of years even a very good garage will struggle with the intracasies of a FFRR unless they have experience. One day your life will flash before your eyes......................................make sure yours is worth watching!

They are LR specialists, not RR... If he proves not to be competent, wil go to the dealer (there are 2 in my area)

Ok, they are such good specialists that even the Range knew it Laughing
The boss put the key in the barrel and the car started immediatly (so he just told me on the phone)!
So he tells me that RRs can be bothered by interferences from TV antenas (the ones that broadcast) and it's true that my village has a big one... and sometimes moving just some hundred meters solves the issue.

Ever heard that?

He will now investigate on the battery drain. Will keep u posted.
