I was about to say the same. Petronas 5000 FJ.

In my opinion, all things considered, the best oil for the 4.4 SDV8. 2015 Range Rover Autobiography 4.4 SDV8

LR? should be FJ there are many types of Syntium 5000 the 2 letters after 5000 are key!

I use Petronas as well, but it should be PETRONAS Syntium 5000 FJ 5W-30 Fully Synthetic Car Engine Oil

Meets or exceeds the requirements of: ACEA C1
Has the following manufacturer approvals:
Jaguar / Land Rover JLR.03.5005
Meets or exceeds the following manufacturer requirements:
Ford WSS-M2C934-B

Sorry Kot you are right I was just implying LR approved. Great value oil . overfinch modified

Well, got round to doing my first FF oil change yesterday and I have to say it was a doddle Thumbs Up

The pump I bought (see earlier post from me and "JayGee") to extract the oil worked great, sucking out all the oil in less than 10mins.

Couple of comments about the bits included with the pump. It has 2 metal outlet tubes which you screw into each side of the pump body and is also supplied with 3 tubes, a 10mm ID outlet tube and 2 inlet tubes (8mm/6mm), together with a couple of push fit connectors.

The oil extraction pipe on the FF needs a 8mm ID pipe so the smaller pipes and the push fit connectors were not usable. Fortunately I had some 8mm pipe at home so just cut a small length to fit between the extraction pipe and the pump using a couple of jubilee clips.

And that's it, job done in less than an hour Very Happy 2021 D350 Fifty Edition - Carpathian Grey

Used the pump I bought a while back today

Works much better than the previous one but I'll be replacing the hoses for next time as they are too short. Took less than 10mins to drain the whole sump. 2012 TDV8 Vogue (L322)
