Not uncommon on these unfortunately, but if caught early can be cleaned off and waxed, if done properly they will then last. Also a good idea to wax all the metal pipe work too. |

Is this the tank protectors? Mine is shot aswell and when I was looking for cars pretty much all had rusty tank protectors. Has anyone looked into making them in alu to not get the problem again? I don't get why they made all the underbody protection upfront in alu and then tank protectors in steel that rusts bad.. |
