Interesting, I went on JLR website this morning, went to N759 recall page, entered my chassis number and this was the result. It's pretty small print but says "No recalls found for..."
I will still take car in as letter date supersedes website page.

No recall showing on Topix for my 2016 SV Auto LWB, just checked and it seems to be a different part number for the LWB (with black calipers) Knuckle as opposed to SWB versions???? Doesn't exactly fill me with confidence!

Watching with interest Thumbs Up L405 SV Autobiography LWB SDV8, finished in Aston Martin China Grey by ETO division.

Can't really understand why there is a difference but I'm taking the car in anyway.

So I went to the MD this morning (with a little trepidation I might add)
The car was taken in, some 1.45 hours later back it came. The knuckles had been checked with what looked like Engineers blue and the numbers (presumably the batch codes??) checked and all given a clean bill of health.
Additionally confirmed in writing.

So, happy days...........gave it an enthusiastic workout on the way back. as you do. Laughing Laughing

Newbie here.
Got the recall letter from JLR. Booked it into Marshall of Peterborough.

Thought I'd take a look myself first, and found the nearside to be badly cracked!

Am waiting now to see how long it takes to be fixed.

Chris.

Mine cracked this week and I am trying my best asking land-rover to replace it. Is the 2013 models the exact same part as the recall parts? Mine is a 2013 4.4 autobiography. 2003 Range Rover HSE 3.0 TD6

I wouldn't risk driving it with that crack!! Do you have a warranty? it could be voided if you knowing drive a defective vehicle.
Show it to the MD let them recover it Today! 2018 SE SDV8 4.4 Byron Blue

Too late! I drove it carefully to the dealer yesterday.

The other side of the knuckle is also cracked but not as badly.
