Got the letter, took it to the selling dealer, got blank stare. Suggested that it would be nice if they inspected, got blank stare...supposedly inspected and got two photos of rusty fuel tank cover.
Suggested that strut could be a liability/legal issue if it failed after letter and request to inspect...Took copy of recall letter and said they didn't have any parts..asked when or what should happen, blank stare.
Asked if they could change oil and filter and was told that vehicle needed a full 60,000 mile service despite the fact that same dealer had done interim services....asked how much and was told $4,500. asked just change oil and filter ($450). ( Not sure they even did that)
Had originally visited with intention to buy a new FF. Was told by someone in dealership that there was new ownership and all the technicians had left.
Received a feedback form and completed with above detail....no response. This is 5th new RR I have bought from this dealer and obviously last. In combination with new Pink Electric Wokuar program I am not sure JLR has a future.
