Yes, I had one go on mine. Went in same way just next to where it entered the plug.

I've just had this error message, so a job for the weekend.
Greg's mod looks awesome.
Those of us with VX220s / Elises will shudder as we think of the ABS sensor wires which fail in the same way...

Mine turned out to be a rear ride height sensor.

Just had the dreaded “Adaptive Dynamics” message. Gap iid is saying ADCM- Active Damping
U3000-04 (AE) Control Module - General Failure information - system internal failure. It is intermittent, can clear fault and it may come back immediately or last for 100 miles. My question is, have any others had the same fault code and it has been damaged wiring. Or alternatively has the only option been to replace module.

I cant remember the exact wording but almost every L322 needs those wires changed now.
Mine was pretty much the last 2012 AB off the production line, is very low mileage and the wires front and back were very brittle. Definitely worth upgrading and highly likely to fix it permanently.

The wires have been replaced with later type lead. Really want to know if anyone else has same error message on Gap iid.

I had this issue this weekend checked the front wires all good. So scanned the car turned out to be the right rear. when i exposed the wires all looked good but the right rear plug had not been pushed home fully it just came out when i pulled it (I did not have the squeeze the tabs to release it) i pushed it back in until it clicked, cleared the fault and boom all working well again and a nice plush ride again.  2012 Vogue 4.4 TDV8 - Current

Mine must be one of the last to suffer this! I'd disturbed the strut-top cables in the boot when hoovering and the next time I went out I got the 'bong'. The front cables are the newer style (due to a late build) so I guessed it was the rear. Sure enough, one of them was broken right at the point of entry into the plug.

GAP tool told me it was the rear left and upon inspection, I was concerned that there wasn't enough wire showing to effect a repair. Managed to clean a tiny amount of wire and set about with a load of solder. Next, I filled the plug with clear glue. It's a temporary repair, but it's worked and the fault has been cleared.

Just fixed mine the near side wires had been repaired before but had broken in a different place, a bit of solder and a heat shrink sleeve sorted that. will order some new bit of wiring harness (LR032839) to fix it properly when things warm up a bit as all the wires are breaking up.

Did you fit the proper dual-track sensors with both the height and CVD outputs or copies that only have the height outputs?

Hi All,

First Post as a new member. Adaptive dynamics fault has appeared on my 2012 westminster. Checked all 4 corners and wires are perfect, like new. Unfortunately, I don't have an iid so wanted to ask if this could be a different fault?

It started intermittent and now is constant and on longer journeys comes up with "suspension fault".

All thoughts welcome 👍

I’d agree with Pete, but add that Adaptive dynamics fault relates to the CVD dampers / wires but Suspension fault tends to relate to air suspension… height / air / sensors, so 2 different systems, though working together….
