I did mine’s yesterday - battery went all of a sudden and Halfords who I booked to do the work, refused to touch it!

can i ask why people are fitting AGM batteries to there 2012 TDV8 4.4?

AGM were fitted by dealers following a lot of issues with non AGM original fit batteries. Most of us are now on AGM. Just replace yours with AGM when the time comes

so my 2011 4.4TDV8 currently has a 95aH / 850 (branded JLR with a small Varta Logo) battery which needs replacement.

Greg, back in 2018 i bought a proper LR battery with a part code of T4A 14085.... pretty sure it was 850 ah... ... - .- -.
