My system works perfectly well in tandem with the ACM system. I have retained the cd player though don't use it. With the ACM I have an old iPod 4 which lives in the glove box.

Yes! You were right re the navtool pairs up nicely with ACM/Logic 7 system! Now that I’m back commuting to work I hope to get some time to finish up the camera install. |

Check out the following link. Should be available. I would inquire about shipping as this company is based in USA

You need AUX for the audio.. possible to use HDMI from the unit but for the likes of Carplay use AUX. John

The USB extension plugs into your phone via a lightning adapter such as from your mains charger. The HDMI extension can also be plugged into your phone (not at the same time ) with an HDMI to lightning adapter. You can also plug it into any HDMI device such as, IIRC , Firestick.

If you can get a long enough one it would be as good if not better as you wouldn't have a join. John

Thanks, that’s what I thought, perhaps the usb gives flexibility. I’ll check with Navtool when I update the unit software.

The reason I would recommend running a USB extension to the centre console is that lightning cables are notorious for wearing out with regular use.

It’s a good point, I’ve bought a decent quality flat usb cable so I think I’ll just fit that - also won’t need to change it next time apple change their plug design! |

Morning all, I have a clear day ahead of me so it’s time to fit the Navtool.
