Just purchased one of the Mercedes Sprinter bottle jacks from a guy in Swindon and found out he has loads more in case any one interested;

They are all brand new and he is asking £35.00 plus 8.95 p&p posted with MyHermes.

Contact Dan Watson; Dan@watsonoils.com

No connection to me, just thought I would pass on in case of any interest.

I bought a merc sprinter jack recently and used it unmodified to lift my fatty to gain acess to the rear right suspension.

No dramas lifted the car easily.

Job jobbed!

The aluminium BMW /mini blocks are back on ebay for cheap money:

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/BMW-AND-MINI-JA...%7Ciid%3A1

Anyone who doesn't have a sprinter jack, you need one. Plus one of these blocks..

They come and go availability-wise, they were on for silly money a while back.
I guess they made a new batch.

. Cheers, Greg

Yes I believe so Rob although I've not tried that.

There are a few threads on sprinter jack / blocks, here are a couple:

https://www.fullfatrr.com/forum/topic49118-45.html

https://www.fullfatrr.com/forum/topic48661...p;start=30

I've had a Sprinter jack for a while but I need to do the mod.
I'm personally going to copy Geoff's solution and go the steel route. Cheers Geoff Thumbs Up

The metal ones in your links are 55 x 30mm. Is that right size? Gone to a good home: 2011 4.4 TDV8 Vogue SE Buckingham Blue with Ivory and clear glass = "Rory"

Rob I remember reading on one of these threads that somebody did a simple mod to their trolley jack so it locked onto the aluminium block. Can't find it. It might have even been attached to the trolley jack.

. Cheers, Greg

The key dimension is the rectangle viewed from the top should be 30mm x 55mm the 30mm is really tight but you could happily be a bit over on the 55mm - say 57mm maybe. Obviously if you get a measurement from someone who has bought the official BMW bit they would be the ones to use. Thumbs Up

Looks like 30mm is just right Thumbs Up
Going to order and then feedback. I have the SGS trolley jack..3tonne one
