Ok so back from the dealer after a look at the squeaky belt and damp shock. Not bad enough to need changing yet! We shall see how it goes at the MOT next year. They also checked the battery and charging system which was all OK. The shock was deemed not gone enough for the warranty company to change at this point, though later it may be, the squeaky belts were only a tiny bit noisy at cold start up. The tensioner probably needs doing, but they reckon that when it gets worse they can justify to the warranty co swapping all the pulleys! (£1200) which includes the crank pulley, though god only knows why that would need changing as it is just a metal disc which bolts to the crank!

Ok so it's been in today to diagnose the leaks, the steering just needed nipping up, they diagnosed a leaking intercooler pipe on the secondary turbo and have finally conceded that the oil pickup is leaking.

Have put the EBay, tune2air in last night. Works faultlessly picks up the iPhone and I get all the music on the touch screen. There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜
