She has been in the dealers for a few days now having a couple of small leaks attended to, changing the squeaking aux belt and an oil service..

Atypically, they it up a bit. Let me know it was ready, but on getting there then realised they hadn't done the service, everything else done OK but not the oil services.

Not a real problem as they just kept it and i will pick it up in the morning instead  There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

Car is back from the dealer and they have sorted (hopefully) all the leaks and the service finally! It's running smooth and silky

They also swapped out the alternator belt as it was squeaky when cold, all being well that might have sorted it and handily they did it just for the cost of the part as it had to come off anyway to swap the dipstick pipe (which was leaking). So it should be good for a little while now.

Going to keep and eye on the weather and might chuck on the winters if it keeps threateneing to snow. So far we haven't had enough to cover the roads, and the temps are generally hovering around 5-10deg so marginal for winters, it's been cold on a couple of mornings but that the time the D4 gets taken to work, I would put them on that but the site is pretty muddy at the moment and he LTZs are really more suitable. There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

Swmbo managed to open the door of her car into the corner of my rear door and take about 1 1/2" of lacquer and paint off the door!!

Apparently t was "the wind"

Bit of touch up and a flat off with some 2000 grit should sort it out but it's just a PiTa. There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜
