Mine is working and is always red. Never needed to hold it, just a simple push does it. Ed |

HI? when you push it, does the red light stay on?, as if i press mine and let it go, the light comes on then goes out again. if i hold it down, the same happens, ie the light comes on then goes out |

Yes - push momentarily and it stays on - red all the time - press again & it goes off |

Mine stays on, might be a temp. triggered issue. As soon as it gets hot it shuts down |

yes perhaps it has to be below a certain temp to trigger , just like the fuel burner ? but i have tried it in the dead of winter and has always done the same as it does now? so probably u:s |

There is an ECU box in the steering wheel behind the Airbag... Probably unserviceable sir |

I have exactly the same problem, press the button and light comes on then goes straight off again. It's the heater element broken, so need to get a replacement wheel.

Buy a nice pair of driving gloves. Keep your hands warm and save money Travelling around in circles again. |

Have you thought it might be a faulty switch?
