Still it does stay on long enough for the wheel to get warm and my fingers to warm up Very Happy , but I suppose that I'll be looking at a replacement one at some time this year Sad I just hope it holds out until the summer. Yesterday I couldn't spell Engineer... Today I are one!

Mine stays on till either switched of or ignition turned off and like Pete the stitching doesn't get too hot was only complaining to SWMBO about that this morning Thumbs Up

Bit of a thread revival but, my heated steering wheel does exactly what you described. Press it on and it almost instantly goes off.

However if the car isn't turned on and just ignition on, it will stay on until I start the car?

2009 Range Rover Vogue TDV8 Buckingham Blue

My steering wheel light also comes on when pushed and off when released but only recently, prior to this it stayed on until the ignition was turned off. So for a fix what has to be bought? Any links at all? Mines a 2005?
