Yes, the boxes and info are identical to those I received. If my bulbs didn't have that small nib at the top of the glass envelope left when they are manufactured they would fit as I think that couple of extra mm would make all the difference.

Glad to tell you all brightness of reverse lights is not an issue as they are not part of the MOT !. Same as front fogs . |

Tried to fit mine last night and failed. The problem is the upgrade bulbs have offset pins at approx. ten to two position, compared to the original bulbs which have the pins opposite each other (quarter to three position)

So this may explain why some have issues ? Do the later cars use straight pins perhaps ?

Could you not file the lower mounted of the bayonet pins down with a file so as to get round the pin offset problems but still leaving the upper bayonet pin unscathed to ensure a good fit (did that with LED bulbs and it worked perfectly well)? |

I received mine and like some mine will accept either type of bulb... I too had the length issue (ooh err) so i simply cut some material off the plastic locking pins on the side of the bulb holders using a craft knife. I then simply put an extra rubber "O" ring on to space the light back and hay presto |

Taking a mm or 2 off the tabs mean your bulb will fit a mm or 2 further from the lens and you run less risk melting the lens |
