you can actually file the top down so its flat, that's what I did before welding the rectangle on the pressure is then not delivered via the "horns" Geoff |

I got the ebay jacking adapter for this but it was resin rather than ali. Doesn't look like it will cope sitting on the bottle jack. Any one have any idea if you can get the ali jack adapter rather than the resin one?

I doesn't hit the knuckles as you have just enough angle. It's not 100% horizontal.

That horizontal pumping jack would be really useful with the deployable sidesteps. Where would I find one? 2012 5.0L S/C

The Merc jacks are also hydraulic pumping jacks. Modifying the top with the adaptor is just to introduce the load of the jack into the car in a better way .

One more quick question: Does that Weber jack have enough lift to get a FFRR wheel off the ground: 385mm fully extended seems low? 2012 5.0L S/C
