Installed new lower control arm, greased bolts after reinstalling new ones and one for height sensor, then worked on a weird foglight issue. One bulb had gone and then the other didn't work...

Drove back to Manchester after a weeks holiday in Bluestone National Park, South Wales - didn't fancy spending hours in queues on the motorway network on a Friday night so it was 200 miles of hilly A/B roads through the heart of Wales, fully loaded with Mrs, two kids and enough stuff to equip a small army for a prolonged campaign!

Fitted new handbrake cables (thanks Dan), just finished. Handbrake doesn't seem much better. Will see what it is like tomorrow after a run.

Steve, put the car in off road height and try the handbrke then in access height... You should find the latter will be rubbish in comparison! Just the way they are I’m afraid & the reason the electric handbrake was developed... |
