@JohnBoyAirey - you just beat me saying that! Mrs is probably out shopping - lets hope she does not get back too early. Howard

Laughing I did them in the garage. Thumbs Up
Just brought them in out of the cooler weather to allow the paint to fully harden.
I'm not sure how long they will be indoors. Whistle

Cruising down the A12, BONG!! 'engine fault', limp mode.. As I was just up the road from my garage I do work in, I popped in there, got the scanner out and scanned it.. P023D, something to do with turbo A, cue some butterflies Neutral .. Then jumped on here, and a little bit of google searching, and the first thing to check was for split hoses.. Lo and behold, found a 3 inch split on RH hose, and also a near split on the left, disaster averted Very Happy .. Gotta say, love the forum, helped us out a few times Thumbs Up ..

Now ordered silicone replacements, but until they arrive, I've had to do some redneck motoring Laughing ..

Rolling with laughter

Drove up (with the wife and kid) from East London to Derby to pick up a set of wheels and tyres for my my weekend car. Half way up the M1 the bong goes off. Almost had a heart attack but fortunately only "check side light". Picked up wheels and then went to Drayton manor with the family.

I love driving the FF, effortlessly eats the motorway miles and easily fitted the 4 wheels plus buggy and over night bag in the boot. Mine has been pretty reliable but feel I'm on borrowed time when I read about others problems on here. That Bong doesn't half scare you, does it.

It was yesterday actually but I towed the tin tent for the last time as I dropped it off in part ex for a static. The missus has already suggested I don't need the RR now I am not towing Shocked but I chose to ignore that comment Very Happy

Fitted all 4 of my V spoke wheels. Had 2 on since the other day and fitted the back 2 this morning.
They've been washed, iron/fallout remover, tar remover, panel wiped and then Gtechniq C5 wheel armour.

Done 200 miles on the motorway. Front wheels were black with brake dust and road dirt etc. Garden hose on them when I got back.

Completely spotless again. No need to clean with soap or hands.

Totally convinced with the Gtechniq products now that I'll progress to doing other parts of the car and get it machine polished and all Gtechniq treated.

Expensive but worth it.
