The foam blocks appear to fill a void between the end of the sill and the end of the plastic sill cover and stop muck accumulating. Maybe only later ones had them fitted. Not sure Gone to a good home: 2011 4.4 TDV8 Vogue SE Buckingham Blue with Ivory and clear glass = "Rory"

Thanks, sounds like maybe mine didn’t have them then; certainly the sill covers didn’t look like they had been off before. |

Ay up Rob. I will try and post some photos mate. Things didn't quite work out! I ordered 1 meter of the seal for each side thinking there would be plenty to do the kink. 1 meter is only just long enough to cover the whole arch without cutting for the kink!!!! It does look nice though fitted and virtually covers all the metal lip. Search Amazon,' TMH large u section 21mm x 8mm.' |

Not the best of photo's to be honest, but shows the door open then closed & using standard non Freelander 2 trims.

What are people using to "fill" the trims before fitting. I did mine last year and filled them with grease but when I had a sneaky look today the grease has gone. Is there a "solid" version of waxoyl type product that could be used. 2010 3.6TDV8 Stornoway Grey/ Black interior - gone

I used Bilthamber wax for my tailgate. Injected using the "straw" provided. They have a number of products. Better than grease IMHO.
