Just remember that the D3 and RRS RAI from Land Rover isn't a snorkel................... they don't have any waterproof seals on them like the ones from LR for Defenders or the Safari ones so you still cannot go into water deeper than 500mm, I'm not sure about this but I think in addition to waterproofing the RAI where it penetrates both the inner and outer wing to allow proper deep water wading you will also still need to extend the breathers a fair bit too. I can also recommend a visit to www.wetroads.co.uk if you fancy trying out some of the fords on the Plain. 2018 Mini Countryman Cooper S E All4 PHEV in Melting Silver - it’s whisper quiet in EV and polluter modes |

Thanks Tim its more to complete the G4 replica (in black) than deep water wading as I don't want soggy carpets |

Could be a bit vulnerable to broken lenses from gravel/stones and low hanging branches whacking back from the car infront unless you can get an outer 2nd layer of polycarbonate over the recess to give some extra protection 2018 Mini Countryman Cooper S E All4 PHEV in Melting Silver - it’s whisper quiet in EV and polluter modes |

I have now fitted the LR RAI to the G4 Black using no bolts or holes drilled in bodywork.
