Cool, just out of interest Gaz, if you don't mind me asking, what sort of money did you pay for it?

Just I'm trying to talk the parents into chopping in their Mk5 Golf GT TDI for a D3. My dad is keen, but just my mother wants to know how much they'll be shelling out. 2006 Mercedes CLS

But really finding it hard to fight the urge for a S/C...

Not sure if you know that a few of us LPR boys are into our Greenlaning, therefore let us know when you have built your toy and perhaps we'll be able to tempt you to come to Sailsbury or Wales for a play?

James Thumbs Up

I quite fancy a light bar but should I go for lights bolted to Roof Rack or something like this:

I quite like the ones which go onto the roof rack. Much more "hardcore" IMO. Whatever you want really. Are you going to be putting a snorkel on it? I think it's like the cherry on top.
I'm actually getting really tempted with kitting my D3 up, not sure if SWMBO will appreciate me taking the kids to school in it though Thumbs Up

Thanks Letsy I will keep you posted on:

1. Fitting Chunky aggressive tyres that work on Road/Snow/Mud

2. Finding suitable Roof Rack plus spots if possible

3. Finding the right snorkel that does not block driver view as some do.

4. Finding Front bar/deflector possibly with spots

Any help is appreciated Thumbs Up

PS can anyone with decent vision see what Tyres are on that G4 combo above?
