The original G4 Exped roof rack was made by Safety Devices IIRC - looks like marine ply treated with rubber compound paint and the 3M nonslip treads we use onboard for the pilot ladder treads and are also available from good yottie shops.

For me the Disco G4 is the one to lust after. The disco is a much more utilitarian vehicle to start with, and how can you not say no to an orange disco? *Gone* Discovery3 HSE

I agree, Disco in G4 spec does look better IMHO.

And fitting a Winch, bullbar, roofrack, spotlights and more aggressive tyres (G4 spec) isn't ? I just think... if you are going to do it, make it look the part! But if you are just making a standard offroad Disco, then yes. Why spend the extra cash. |

The cars I am looking at have 17" wheels can anybody recommend some ideas for M&S tyres that will fit the rims without rubbing. I would prefer 275/265 width. |
