My transfer box started leaking a short while ago, I removed the breather and blew it through with an airline. So far no more leaks, hoping it was just an obstructon in the breather pipe. Only time will tell...... |

Mine was leaking from the seal between the two halves.(it splits in two) been done twice now. It is a 4-5 hour job apparently.

Yes, I think it is leaking from the split. If you've had it done twice its obviously a common fault! Did hunters in derby do it? |

Yes, not a cheap job to do at the md though, the did it the first time under warranty, the second time the knocked me some cash off as it had only been done 18 months earlier. Its only a silicone seal so no parts are needed. There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

I stripped a DD295 down here : http://www.fullfatrr.com/forum/topic12404.html in case anyone was wondering what the parts look like.

Excellent and interesting write up. Is it much trouble to just split the casing and apply some new silicone or do I have to take all the ancillary bits off first?
