Yep, that's the one. I also replaced it when I did my oil cooler as the O ring inside was leaking. It's not expensive from Maltings.

I don't know but it sounds possible. Are the harness plugs to the pressure sensor and pressure valve on the rails connected?

I'd be concerned that the garage 'suspects' a faulty turbo already. Is it loading up the parts cannon early? The hose was the prime suspect as mentioned on post 2 by GraemeS.

There is a parts catalogue (and workshop manual) in the wiki and that says FSE000030 front, FSE000041 centre and LR011706 to the handle.
