Tdv8 4.4 restricted performance diagnosis

Having ongoing restricted performance issue with my 2012, I checked all the usual culprits but made no difference, gave in and took it to an independent and based on the codes they are saying its a wiring fault. The car snapped the aux belt just before I bought it so I now suspect the flailing belt has damaged wiring to the cross over valve, has anyone had a similar issue, I am looking for ways to test/diagnose the wiring, was booked back in to the independent however they forgot to add my booking to their diary and completely wasted my time.

Alternatively can anyone recommend a good independent in the Glasgow area, not Elite in Clydebank, and ES alternators in Kirkintilloch are being non committal also.

If the CSOV isn’t opening Iwould be looking for damage on the vacuum pipes, not a wiring problem?

Cheers

I've been through the vaccuam system, found some collapsed lines which I replaced, independent specialist claim that the fault code point towards an electrical fault, they weren't aware of the belt failure so have no reason to doubt them. Smoke test would be the only way to definitely check vaccuam system I assume?

Inlet elbow has been off, cleaned and sealed with o rings, 4 rubber hoses checked, vacuum pipes replaced where nesesary, cross over valve arm moves freely and wiring appears to be intact. Is there a check I can carry out on the connector to the cross over valve, voltage/continuity etc?

I also had PO33-00 (2F) code showing for ages before I found the cause to be a dislodged plug on the wiring.
I did a write up, but can’t find the post this morning, sorry, I will keep searching.

I've read your thread, the plug is connected, although I suspect that is the connector with the damaged wire due to its location in relation to the belt, if I could test the connector for voltage etc it means I could rule it out

Cheers, I will just add, even with the plug disconnected it definitely didn’t cause any R P problems.
