I agree, also don't forget to bleed the electric pump as well.
Keep opening the bleed screw on the expansion tank many many more times than you would think

Checked the bonnet switch today and can confirm that it does not inhibit raising or lowering of the suspension and neither does the tailgate.
So at the moment all is well.
