United Kingdom 2006 Range Rover Supercharged 4.2 SC V8 Buckingham Blue
Air quality sensor - location

Hi all
I have just found this part lying on top of the auxiliary coolant pump. I gather it is a BMW Air quality sensor.

However I cannot see where it is attached, it has what look like mounting mouldings on the reverse so it must clip onto the body work or a bracket of some sorts.
Anyone know where it goes?

Thanks

I cannot find it in the manual nor in any parts diagrams.
Does any one have the LR part code?

It must fit to the right of the radiator near the auxiliary coolant pump due to the length of the cable.

Sorry I was mistaken, it's the fan relay by the looks of it...

Google 00612010 BMW or 462251 BMW (the numbers on it) and you should find it... Thumbs Up Pete

Interesting, we are both correct, I only searched for the top part number which brings up air quality the lower part numbers refer to fan relay.
So it does two functions.

Still doesn't solve the location problem though. I will have to have another good look tomorrow.

With a closer look under torch light I found its mounting place. So for anyone in the future...
