Following tips from a post in ffrr fitted new B pillar trims today, replacing bubbling paint of original ones. Originals were letting sides down after having rear arches replaced and painted recently.

I took the car for an MOT. I was kind of dreading what might fail on, as it’s 11 years old, and this is the first MOT since i bought it. I got the “Suspension fault. Vehicle may lean when cornering” message on the way to the MOT. But it passed, with a minor and some advisories. Very Happy

Took it to Kwik fit in Abergavenny this morning to have a hunter wheel alignment. It was way out, steering feels much better and no more wheel rumble. 2 new tyres needed now though.

Fitted paddle shifters today & all done & dusted in 2 hours. It works a treat & great to help slow the car down.
Also fitted new offside front brake pipe as the old was a little corroded & the MOT is due soon. 2010 RR Autobiography 5.0 SC

Spain 2012 Range Rover Westminster TDV8 Baltic Blue

Lovely pictures @Sql 👏🏻👏🏻

Today I got the rear wiper wash functional. It was wiping but didn’t wash. It’s been about a year so it was well over due! It was blocked nozzles, so a cheap and simple fix.

Ordered all the parts for a major service.

Ordered all the parts to rebuild both rear callipers, pistons etc.

Sat and looked at her for a while, god I love the L322! 2012 4.4 TDV8 Westminster - Baltic Blue, Jet interior

It was the Scramble at Bicester Heritage today. I’d got a display ticket for my 106 Rallye but the conditions were too crap to bring that out. So the L322 ended up on display. It wasn’t the only one. And it seemed to get more attention than I thought!

Well worth a visit. Next one is in April - I think tickets go on sale tomorrow.

Scotland 2012 Range Rover Westminster TDV8 Fuji White

Spent 4 hours, lot's of cursing and hammering with ever increasing sizes of mallet to remove the HD variable height hitch assembly off the car now that I'm not towing so much.

Not weighed it, but has got to be 30kgs of steel there, this has had added box section welded in to prevent sagging by the looks of it, I had to cut that off because whomever fitted it actually welded the angle piece to the lower flange of the towbar frame, thus rendering it unremoveable..

Eventually after an hour using my reciprocatinf saw and using blowtorch, 5lb mallet, loads of WD40 and a long prize bar with the whole lot under a lot of tension of a mini bottle jack horizontally, finally got it out.

Have now resurfaced the square tubing passthrough, greased and put it back to standard hitch now so I have it when I need it but car looks better without it.

Don't know who did that, but must have been a reason for it and was done a while ago judging by the corrosion.
