i am getting failed control module in live date on the gap tool .........will have a look when i find where it is |

The parking aid control module is located in the luggage compartment, behind the left quarter trim panel of the luggage compartment.

i did look on the right side where the second battery is (need to reset fbh remote got a new fob for it )

what colour are the connectors going into the control module ....there not black -purple and yellow are they by any chance ? |

No idea what the colour of your removable connectors are. But here is the wiring diagram with the individual wires in the connectors showing their colours.

just been looking at removing the parking aid module (as gap tool says it faulty ) do you have to remove

Just remove the left quarter trim panel of the luggage
