I kept telling Stratstone Aylesbury from the off, that the ventilation/aircon was nowhere near as effective (and noisier) than on my 08 RR, but they kept saying it was "normal". The dribble of cool air, the sound from the back of the dash of a motor seeming to try hard against resistance etc etc.

I've got the VIN of my car and thanks God I'm not in that range ![]() But I'm still not so confident on the OEM battery ![]() |

Yes. Never had a flat battery to date but had warnings of low battery. Still don't know why LR don't fit vehicles with every electronic extra with a bigger or additional battery...

I picked up my new TDV8 Tuesday. Thursday morning it showed "low battery - start engine", but started fine. Yesterday it went on a 250 mile motorway trip and this morning had the "low battery - start engine" message again, and again started fine. The answer may be included somewhere in this thread but is this actually a battery issue, or is it a faulty message? (The car was build to order so I imagine was manufactured in the last few weeks - its well beyond the VIN range recalled) |

Ouch! ![]() I really hoped they more or less fixed the issue, but now it looks like I may experience it myself too ![]() |

So you're not too depressed, the engine is beautiful and it delivered 32mpg over the 250 miles yesterday! |

my suggestion is to keep on at your dealer. LR will eventually fix it. The more feedback they receive, you'd hope they will more prioritise. |
