They are, they realised that money clearly does not go hand in hand with common sense, in fact have realised that a number of owners are complete morons and forgotten they bought a car. To this end they do not understand that it should be driven to charge the battery and run all the toys. LR have responded by reprogramming the park heat/cooling function so it runs and then doesn't require the car to be started and driven for a while to recharge the power used. |

Those same morons don't experience the same problems with the Mercedes/Lexus/BMW/Audi/whatever they also own, which has an equal number of toys to be powered. |

Your radio should shut off after 30minutes, that isn't a problem with the battery - it's supposed to save you from problems with the battery though. All my FFRR's and RRS's have powered down the radio after 30minutes without running the engine 2018 Mini Countryman Cooper S E All4 PHEV in Melting Silver - it’s whisper quiet in EV and polluter modes |

The trip was awesome thanks (Burgundy). the FFRR was ace. 95-100leptons the whole way for 5+hrs, no worries. Supremely comfortable and spacious...brought back a dozen cases of wine....no bother Be happy once battery issue sorted though. |

Rambles I had the same type of issues with the battery - engine fan going on in the middle of the night all by itself etc. Dealer updated software and the problem hasn't reoccurred in 3 months. Haven't changed my driving habits (some days it's only 3 I'm to the office then back home again) and the battery hasn't been replaced, so maybe ask if you have the latest software? |

Your vehicle is 5.0 S/C though and from what I hear the problem is affecting diesels the most due to the amount of power the vehicle needs to start. |
