For those with a later VIN than recalled who are seeing the low battery message - what action has your dealer taken?

They took it back and said it was 'normal' if you like. It was when the car was about a week old and they said the battery wasn't fully charged but had all the right software and the AGM battery. It hasn't reoccurred since.

I've had the message twice since new (end of May), once in the first few days and once more a few weeks back, but apart from the message there have been no starting/operating problems so I haven't raised it with the dealer as yet.

Quick update on my experience: 4.4 Tdv8 has been back in again. The local dealership finally conceded that the aircon was not pumping out 10% from the dash of what it should be like. 4 days later, dash off and rebuilt, bingo! Perfect flow of perfectly cold air.
Just in time for winter!

There is an update on this.....

not a battery problem, but LR are changing the telesat receivers on some MY11 RRs, as these have stayed on causing battery drain.

do you know how critical that drain was? my dealership told me there's an updated which may take a couple of hours, but they didn't know if it was just a software update or some new hardware Shocked Santorini Black RR Vogue 4.4 TDV8

It's the T91 Webasto module that receives the signal from the remote I believe.

According to the bulletin, the receiver is staying on after 30 minutes causing battery drain......

The job can be done whilst you wait once they have the replacement unit.

For what it's worth, it has made no difference to my FFRR.

Dealer tells me my car is operating as it should. Fair enough. But I want an FBH that works properly and warms the cabin before I get in. Lke it used to in my "old" MY10 Vogue SE.

So a letter went off to Dr. Speth yesterday.

Maybe if enough people start writing to Dr. Speth, he will get it sorted.

For myself, if it is not sorted soon, I will be writing to Tata motors....

At the end of the day, if it is not sorted, you just buy your next new car from a different manufacturer....and when Jaguar Land Rover wonder why their sales have started to dip, you can say as the Americans do..."go figure".
