No replies so far on this.
Can anyone tell me whether the "low battery - start engine" message on the 2011-12 models is just a "feature" ie overly cautious software programming, or a real indication of a problem? 2011 Vogue TDV8 4.4

Mine have both done this but both of mine have been 5.0 S/C, not the diesel. However, when I mentioned it the dealer updated the software in the charge control module which cured the message issue. Now I can sit and watch a DVD while the Mrs goes shopping. Still starts fine after an hour of watching TV.

Can the software update for the charge control module be done via the IIDTool, or only via the main stealer? 2011 Vogue TDV8 4.4

It can be done with an IIDTool via our Fast Lane service.
