Canada 2015 Range Rover Autobiography 5.0 SC V8 Santorini Black

UPDATE FROM CANADA:

I've been calling JLR on a monthly basis for an update and they finally confirmed that the parts for this recall are finally available.

MY 14-15 cars are having the knuckles replaced (I believe a new superseded part) and 16+ will require an inspection first before replacement.

My 2015 is scheduled for this Wednesday for both to be replaced.

It does seem a bit random, my 64 plate is on the list and booked in. When I got the text/Email confirmation they had a different reg. number. When I phoned to correct it I was told they were booking so many of these in that they had mixed mine up with someone else's who is getting the same job done.
The number they sent to me belongs to a 2019 car?

The affected vehicles identified at this stage are 'certain 2014 - 2016 model years' (whatever that means)

For those few owners that have had the knuckle break and had it repaired, JLR will be reimbursing the full cost of repair.

Mine doesn't appear yet to be a recall on the OSH. Mine was one that was originally affected and snapped late last year. Does it usually take some time to get through in relation to the recall showing?

Good news though, especially if they are refunding replacements.

Update: New knuckles have been installed under recall campaign warranty. I can't stress enough the peace of mind this has given me vs always having a risk of failure always in the back of my mind.

My drivers side failed today.. Same experience as everyone else here. (Fortunately) low speed having just come from a fast main road.. Loud bang & feared a blowout. Drivers side front suspension collapsed and knuckle damaged the air strut.

It's currently sat on the edge of a field & waiting for a post bank holiday recovery.

Hi Kot,

You've got me on the edge of my multi-way adjustable seat!

What does N759v2 say? (for those of us without a current Topix subscription) 2017 - L405 SC - WOW! just WOW!
2014 - L405 4.4
2010 - L322 3.6 - Carried me 100,581 miles then broke big-time

There are 10 types of people in this world;
Those that understand binary,
and those that don't.
