i saw one of these new remotes sold for over £120 on ebay the other night... Shocked

i may just have one going for sale to fund the purchase an older shape one to see if that works in my car. Current: TDV8 (3.6) RRS HSE

Ideal as a spare for your second key , one to keep in the caravan or even connect to a GSM dialler so it can be rung up

They are the T91 remotes ...so im suspecting the newer sport / FFRR and Disco 4 from proberly late 2009 / 2010 onwards

Well, I just looked on the Wabasto website and they say the T91 is compatible with the T80 Question
Maybe I should give it a pun and see if it works. 2008 MY Supercharged

If it dont work ..you can send it back ..

There easy to pair ...just pull the appropriate fuse ...then when putting it back in hold the off button on the remote ....the light on the remote should then light up

hi guys, got this reply from webasto today.

Hi Stuart.

Unfortunately if the heater was factory fitted you won’t be able to use just any second hand remote and get it reprogrammed by a dealer.

The remote has to be Land Rover specific, this is because all automotive companies use there own specific can-bus communication language.

The remote would have to be purchased from Rover as Webasto UK and there dealers are aftermarket/retro fit.

The product is factory fitted (OEM) so this makes it a Rover part.
