Greames did you manage to find a suitable o-ring, and did it work?

I'll be trying BS620 (ID 79.77mm, section 5.33mm), having recently measured the spigot at 81mm and the housing 90mm.

I went around my throttle body with a few layers of electrical tape until I got a nice tight seal instead of the PTFE tape to be sure it wasn't going anywhere |

My local bearing supplier has no information on BS620 so next week when I go to town I'll see if I can get BS338 and BS339, the adjacent original BS sizes in 3/16" section either side of BS620 to try. I didn't take my charts so didn't know the numbers of the adjacent sizes.

I managed to get a 5 pack of bs620 from https://www.simplybearings.co.uk/shop/ after trying ptfe tape.

I'll have to have another look at mine as I didn't spot a clip-in section although I wasn't expecting one either. |

I've found seals similar to the original seal but I need to re-measure mine and take a picture to see if any of the seals could be used.

Checked mine today and there were signs of a leak. When I took the elbow off the lower part of the throttle body tube was flattened so looks like someone had been clumsy last time it was off (it wasn't me). Used 2 O rings, some thick PTFE and some silicone grease to ease it on and it needed a good hard push to get the wire retainer to engage but it's now very tight and secure. 2012 TDV8 Vogue (L322) |

I use FUM-tape. Make throttle body diameter littlebit bigger with that and now elbow is not loose anymore with old seal. No signs of leak half year already.
