2006 Range Rover Supercharged 4.2 SC V8 Barolo Black

so, got the top consol off (managed to crack it 😢 ). there is a black cover over the gear (see photo). The gear doesnt look it but can be turned with a hex bit. Wound it all thw ay open and closed and checked, no rust and plenty of grease.
So now, if i press fo
ward i hear a click. Backwards nothing.
Any ideas?

Have you tried pressing the switch upwards, as in towards the sky to see if it tilts?

Yes, holding the switch either upwards or forwards about 20 seconds should make the motor recalibrate the end stops next time it’s used. If not, you have a bit more investigation to do…..

2004 Range Rover Vogue Td6 Giverny Green

You could check 3 fuses,

Fuse 58 20A, Fuse 41 5A and Fuse 53 30A.
