Site sponsors & they offer members a discount. Great service as well. Check one of my threads about 12 months ago, I had the same problem & cured it with a new unit. 2012 Orkney Grey Westminster 4.4TDV8 with Ivory interior.........nice!

We still have some repair kits in stock. Not many left. Will be placing an order soon.

I used one of the kits provided by JNC and did the fix myself. It took me about an hour to disassemble the seat back, remove the failed unit, change the peltier cell and corrugated housing, replace the repaired unit and reassemble the seat back.
If I can do it, I am fairly certain most on here also could!
Still working a few weeks later and I am feeling the benefit every morning! Very Happy

Do you provide a kit that replaces the peltier cell on the seat base and backrest? Both my front seats don’t work at all.

Thanks

I’ve never seen the base unit fail.
The seat back ducting splits and causes the cell to overheat.
The system shuts down and prevents that entire seat working.

I’ve not seen the passenger side fail but of course it’s likely.

A good way to tell without diagnostic tool is to turn on the heat and feel the fan under the seat.
If it runs for a few seconds and turns off it usually means it has gone over temp. A sign the cell has failed.
The heated/cooled system for that seat will cease to operate again until an ignition cycle.

Don't if anyone has said this before but the same unit is used in 09-15 Jaguar XF seat.

It could be that the filter is blocked?

Does the system shut down if both parts are turned on?
Or the back still works but not the base?
