In our MINI there are so many extra channels. That is DAB+
Scrolling through yesterday I found Union Jack Radio, Union Jack Rock and Union Jack Dance. None of these appear in our 2010 VSE. I’d like to enable DAB+ 2010 MY Vogue SE TDV8 3.6 Stornoway Grey- fully loaded

I wouldn’t recommend fitting the L405/494 module as listed previous.

Seems to cause a few issues with the infotainment system.

CPLA-14F720-BM was mentioned on a previous post presumably this is the L405 module, think i ll remove mine and see which one is already fitted as i would like DAB+ also

Where exactly in the LH cubby does the DAB module sit? Is it behind the DVD Video module (AH42-19A164)? My car is an AUS spec with no DAB from factory. I can't find any power connector or MOST connector, but I think I have the coax connectors floating around the bottom of the LH side. got a White and a beige coax connector
Ive got the connectors for the green amp thing in the RH side top but no green amp.
The power connector for the DAB is not an issue but how do I get MOST to it if I don't have a connector. is there a form of splitter for the MOST and is it available from LR.

On the first Pic, the DAB it’s left of the Video-Module underneath the black "thing”, behind that steel cage you see on the second pic.

Has there been any definitive resolution to this, which modules will definitely work and what's involved?

I have the L405/L494 module.
Whilst it works, it has it quirks.
You have to turn off the radio then select DAB to turn the unit on to DAB.
If you receive a call sometimes it doesn't mute the radio, the rest of the time, after the call you need to adjust the volume to start the music again.

I use it around these faults no problem but would prefer a better solution.

Would that be the CPLA-14F720-BM?

I believe so.
The power plug is different. You can get a patch loom. I just modified a plug I had to work.

So, can't buy the plugs for love nor money and the patch loom (from Jag) seems to be unavailable and out of stock everywhere, too! 2011 4.4 TDV8 Vogue SE - 'Black Betty'
