O rings arrived this morning and fitted, all looking good so far, just the mess underneath to clean up now, thanks Mike for the link to the o rings.

Big thanks to the contributors of the thread, I’ve managed to source the o rings and fit them. I also decided it would be worthwhile changing the gaskets on the oil cooler/filler considering they’re cheap and the potential headache it can cause if they leak oil into the coolant! It’s not like I’ve got anything else to do under lockdown anyway. My gaskets weren’t actually leaking but they weren’t far off, they were very flat and brittle. However it’s still leaking from somewhere. So I’ll get back under it today and see what I can find, I did clean everything the best I could so hopefully it’ll be obvious.

EDIT:-

We'll there is oil still pouring down from the bell housing, prodominetly from the left hand bank I can't see the source of it and it isn't the oil filter / cooler area or the turbo oil feed o rings I've just addressed. Anyone get any other ideas? I've checked the best I can and it doesn't seem to be the rocker cover gaskets but can't totally rule it out. Please help  Cheers, Andy

Just a note re mattgage's elbow issue: looks like the same elbow connector to the sump - the one I use to drop my oil.

I've not read about this one leaking before.

Andy Talkwrench how did you get on?

So we've collected three oil leak sources right?

- o rings oil feed pipe
- o ring inside the elbow connector
- main gasket/seal for the oil cooler body
