Hi Eac11, sadly I've not succeeded with my experimental fitting of the Ford Mustang unit.

How do you get the back of the seat to come off? Are they attached by screws or clips? |

I Have just fixed this on mine, mine was the fan assembly in the back of the seat, the part was around £125 and I got my local garage to change it for me. |

What fan unit did you buy if you don't mind me asking for £ 125 as I recalled the genuine part being more like £250. Just for future reference. |

Yes could be ducting. The units are more likely to fail in heat mode.

So, it heats both base and back but only cools base... Thoughts? Could be duct, get the back off the seat (bit of a phaff) and inspect the unit to start Rob.

Will do. Looks like seat back can be removed by carefully following the instructions here. As ever, very helpful Gone to a good home: 2011 4.4 TDV8 Vogue SE Buckingham Blue with Ivory and clear glass = "Rory"
