As a man who is described by his wife as ‘breaks into a sweat at the sight of a screwdriver’ ...

regretting not putting a brand new starter motor in when the engine was out. she just will not crank. guessing it could be the starter motor...not even a click. |

I think I have been beaten. Other than a few pipes left to install, the engine is pretty much 100% together. Battery voltage is good... she is still in neutral following putting her in emergency park release. The rotary gear selector does not raise... it's recognising the key. press the start button... dials come on... i can hear fuel pumps kicking in.... just no crank.

Will it crank in neutral? Or does it need to be in park? |

May sound silly but do you not have to press the brake pedal on that year ? |
