Have you got a tow bar fitted?
You can put a charger on via the white capped socket.

Will it not open with the key in the door... or... if you have a tow pack you can charge it up through the plug...

Probably other ways, don't know the layout at the front on the later ones.... Pete

to open it with the key inside the fob

on the passenger door there is a small hole under the handle on the part where the lock should be.

insert your key in here and remove the painted cover. under this is the actual lock.

insert key and open.

folks think that the hole underneath is the lock it isn't, you need to remove the cover and it will give access to the keyhole. the key should open it even if super locked. I know I've just done it on mine to see how it worked. Thumbs Up Thumbs Up There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

Had that type of manual lock cover on my disco it's worth opening and trying out also a good idea to use graphite grease or similar to prevent the lock seizing , coz you just know when it's needed it will be seized Thumbs Up

but you have a manual lock - make sure it works - (should set off alarm, just put key into ignition and turn on) .
Experience is the only genuine knowledge, but as time passes, I have forgotten more than I can remember Wink

Same happened, no battery and lock would not open. No alternative lock on passengers door. Bit of a fiddle but get a spare charged battery or power source i.e. another vehicle. Get under car and locate alternator. You will have to undo some body parts like the front under-shield. Take off alternator lead and connect to + battery terminal and - to chassis. This will set off the alarm for a few seconds but will also open the door. Then you can get in and pop the bonnet and connect up.
