I replaced my discs and pads following this guide yesterday.
Straight forward to do, the most difficult bit being undoing the caliper bolts as its difficult to get any real purchase on them. Soaking them in WD40 and whacking the spanner with a lump hammer did the trick.
Also had one of the pins seized so it buckled as I was drifting it out. Cutting the pin on both sides with an angle grinder, more WD40 then drifting it out did the trick.

Not a difficult job so long as you have decent supports under the car. What you don't want is a RR falling on your head.....  There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

A Sprinter bottle jack, or even better a trolley jack and axle stands is the only way.
I wouldn't attempt this with a scissors jack as the car moves around when whacking bolts to undo them. 2012 Westminster 4.4 TDV8

I replaced the front discs and pads on my 4.4TDV8 recently. As described, a very easy job.

Keep your eyes open for ECP deals - brakes are often 50% off. They recently had 53% off which I've never seen before so I snapped up discs, pads, handbrake shoes and wear sensors all round for about #300. All parts are Pagid and I'm very happy with them.

When I did my pads etc,the pins that hold the retaining spring in place were stainless steel,I think they are standard ,although I did replace the bleed nipples with stainless ones, the front Brembos that is.

Just done my drivers side, no wear sensor to be found!

Is that right, is there only one wear sensor?

Came in for a break, a bit nippy today.4 degrees out !
I'm hoping a sensor will show up when I whip off the NS wheel in an hour.....

After I've warmed up a bit!

Never thought of a scaffold board type wood to give the jack that extra inch or so to get off the ground, my jack only just raises high enough to get the wheel of with a squeeze, so a couple of blocks will become part of the maintenance kit lol
