I replaced the front discs and pads on my 4.4TDV8 recently. As described, a very easy job.

When I did my pads etc,the pins that hold the retaining spring in place were stainless steel,I think they are standard ,although I did replace the bleed nipples with stainless ones, the front Brembos that is. |

Sensor only fitted on passenger side front brake.

I thought you may like to see the before and after of the reconditioned calipers (new pads fitted as well)It was part of a full detailing.

Never thought of a scaffold board type wood to give the jack that extra inch or so to get off the ground, my jack only just raises high enough to get the wheel of with a squeeze, so a couple of blocks will become part of the maintenance kit lol |
