Replaced the driverd side inlet manifold due cracking. Cant complain done over 6k with sikaflex holding it together! Only real issue was getting the injector pipes off, the union wouldnt come off 3 off the injectors so had to pull it out with the pipe on on three off the 4 injectors. 5 hours later with plenty of tea breaks wasnt too bad! Also changed a glowplug whilst i was in there, had 8 but didnt see the need to replace 7 working ones as it isnt a big job to change at a later date 2004 td6 l322 - gone

2nd MOT since I've owned my FF - passed with 2 advisories, oil leak and cv boot so well chuffed, also happy to see mileage (my readout is unreadable) - 04 reg now showing just over 85k and, according to the exhaust readout, the engine is running as new emission wise Very Happy

Looked at the very, very dirty fatty after I'd gotten out of bed at silly o' clock (day off) to take madams SL in for a horrendously expensive service at the main stealer whilst she snoozed on. To be fair she didn't get in from work until 2000hrs, after leaving the house at 0630. Now about to hit the M4 and anticipate the joys of the south circular at the end...….. Germany 2004 Range Rover Vogue Td6 Zambezi Silver

Fitted a new gear lever surround, now have a Hill Descend switch... and it works. Very Happy

Tried out the IID BF tool from Dan, it works, cleared all the existing faults and now only have to sort out a broken passenger side heated mirror.

Also enabled the Park heat function...just now need to get the fbh to work Wink 'Weginald the Wange Wover"

Gave the old girl a wash as she was looking a bit grubby. Having thoughts about selling it, I only need a tow car for my track car and the full fat seems a bit wasted for that purpose.

Top bush, rear, on both sides replaced...bye bye to the pram like squeak ! Rear brake overhaul thrown in as sliders where a bit sticky. Then off to Kwik Fit for a 4 wheel adjustment package. Feels like a new car although I think a front droplink might be suffering a bit of wear.
